Seasonal Events: celebrating the two museums
Each spring, AFMO opens the doors of the museums to its members and art enthusiasts for an exclusive evening, including private tours of temporary exhibitions and a cocktail reception. And every autumn, patrons gather in Paris for an exclusive four-day weekend and an exceptional Gala evening at the Musée d’Orsay.
Day trips are also organized to discover heritage sites, museums, artists' studios in resonance with the collections of the Orsay and Orangerie museums.
In 2024, events will focus on the 150th anniversary of Impressionism.
Seasonal events are open to AFMO members and patrons, by invitation only.

Gala Weekend in Paris

This autumn again, AFMO patrons and guests gathered in Paris for an exceptional fundraising weekend and Gala evening in support of the two museums and in celebration of French-American friendship.
Th next Gala weekend will be held from October 17 to 0ctober 20, 2024.

Springtime Open House
June 12, 2023 7:00-10:00PM
AFMO supports the Paris 1874. Inventing Impressionism exhibition and will host its annual open house at the Musée d’Orsay on June 12, 2024. Patrons, members and partners will enjoy a private viewing of thisextraordinay exhibition followed by a cocktail in the nave.
