A Day in Barbizon, Fontainebleau Forest

Guests started the day with a tour of Barbizon, also known as the “village des peintres”, nestled on the edge of the forêt de Fontainebleau, including curated tours of the Musée des peintres and Jean-François Millet’s house. After lunch at the hôtellerie du Bas Bréau, they headed to Château de By for an afternoon in Rosa Bonheur’s footsteps.

This day-trip was a fundraiser to help support the two musées in their projects.
