The weekend’s cultural highlights, private tours and experiences will include:

-  Curatorial tours: Caillebotte. Painting men and Harriet Backer (1845-1932). The music of color (Musée d’Orsay); Heinz Berggruen. A dealer and his collection (Musée de l’Orangerie); Fondation Custodia

- Impressionism: Durand-Ruel archives; Stéphanie Botteri (great grand-niece of Gustave Caillebotte); Maison Caillebotte (Yerres)

- French heritage: 17th century Hôtel Guénégaud; Château de Bagatelle; Château de Versailles; Opéra Comique: Villa Windsor

To celebrate French-American friendship and our support to the Musées d’Orsay et de l’Orangerie, AFMO will host

- an opening cocktail at the Musée de l’Orangerie

- a luncheon at Château de Bagatelle

- a French-American friendship cocktail at an exclusive private venue

- the annual Gala evening at the Musée d'Orsay, including private viewings of the Fall 2024 exhibitions.

To make the most of your Weekend in Paris, please consider the following options:

  • Four-day package: starting at $9,500
    From Thursday, October 17 p.m. to Sunday, October 20 p.m., including the Gala evening at the Musée d’Orsay.

  • Three-day package: starting at $8,500
    From Thursday, October 17 p.m. to Saturday, October 19 p.m., including the Gala evening at the Musée d’Orsay.

The Weekend in Paris is a fundraiser open to AFMO members and non-members alike, to support the Musée d’Orsay and the Musée de l’Orangerie with their projects. Purchasers of weekend tickets may deduct the cost of each ticket, less $2,500 per person.

Please note that registration for the AFMO Benefit Weekend will close on September 15, 2024.
Registration for the gala evening on Saturday, October 19, will remain open.

Tickets for the Gala evening are also available:

  • Gala evening at the Musée d’Orsay: starting at $1,500
    On October 19 at 7:30 p.m. Includes private viewings of the Fall 2024 exhibitions, cocktail reception, and Gala dinner.

  • Gala cocktail at the Musée d’Orsay: $500
    On October 19 at 7:30 p.m. Includes private viewings of the current special exhibitions and cocktails.

The Gala evening on Saturday, October 19, is a fundraiser open to AFMO members and non-members alike, to support the Musée d’Orsay and the Musée de l’Orangerie with their projects. A portion of Gala evening tickets is tax-deductible as a charitable contribution:

  • Purchasers of Gala cocktail + dinner tickets may deduct the cost of each ticket, less $800 per person.

  • Purchasers of Gala cocktail-only tickets may deduct the cost of each ticket, less $150 per person.

Please note that any Gala evening-only donations/tickets are nonrefundable.
