Planned Giving

Planned gifts include bequests, gifts of works of art* and other special gifts noted in a donor’s will or trust.

In addition to providing donors and their family with significant tax benefits, planned gifts will benefit and support the Orsay and Orangerie Museums.

A planned gift designated to AFMO is a commitment to the future of the Musée d’Orsay and Musée de l’Orangerie as well as a legacy to benefit new generations of visitors.

For more information, please contact Lilian Bancroft.

Estate plans should be prepared by and with the advice of an attorney. We strongly encourage donors to seek professional legal and tax advice to set up their bequest.

*Gifts of works of art are subject to acceptance by the Musée d’Orsay’s Acquisitions Committee.
