The President’s Fund: Enhancing the Visitor Experience

In honor of the newly appointed president in late 2021, Christophe Leribault, AFMO established a “President’s Fund” to address the Museums’ top priorities.

With the generous support of our patrons, AFMO has also contributed to the development of newly enhanced welcome spaces to offer visitors a new and improved experience, including new resting areas and new tools to help them navigate the museum and galleries from the start.

In September 2023, the nave welcomed two new screens, facing each other. All day, they air a bilingual short movie featuring archive images of the Orsay building that highlights the amazing story of a 1900 train station turned world famous fine art museum.
