“Provence, in the footsteps of Van Gogh and Cézanne”

Following our 2024 spring trip to Normandy in the footsteps of the Impressionists, this year’s trip will head to Provence in the footsteps of Vincent Van Gogh and Cézanne.

With this specially curated itinerary, we will explore the landscapes and vibrant scenes that have fueled the creativity of countless artists, including Cézanne and Van Gogh. Both renowned for their contributions to modern art, these artists are richly represented in the collections of the Musées d’Orsay et de l’Orangerie.

We will begin our journey in Paris with a special dinner at the Musée d’Orsay before departing for the countryside, then wander through the charming streets of Aix-en-Provence, Arles, Saint-Rémy, and Camargue. Guests will enjoy privately guided visits of

  • Saint-Rémy de Provence where Vincent was hospitalised for a year

  • Arles, where Vincent spent a year and painted the famous Nuit étoilée

  • Camargue and Les Saintes-Maries de la Mer where Van Gogh spent a week in 1888

  • Château La Coste where art, architecture, haute cuisine and art-de-vivre celebrate nature and beauty

  • Aix-en-Provence where Cézanne lived and painted

  • Montagne Sainte-Victoire Cézanne walked and painted.

Trip runs from May 10 through May 17, 2025.
