Pastels. From Millet to Redon @MuseeOrsay

Patron Pass Tour - Musée d’Orsay, Paris

The Musée d’Orsay exhibits some one hundred pastels from its collection, which contains around 500 pastel works in all. The last exhibition on this scale devoted to the Museum’s pastels (Le Mystère et l’éclat / Mystery and Brilliance) was held in 2009. The current exhibition enables visitors to (re)discover highlights from a collection that features works by Millet, Degas, Manet, Cassatt, Redon, Lévy-Dhurmer and many others.

AFMO invites you to a private tour of the exhibition Pastels: From Millet to Redon, supported by AFMO, when the museum is closed to the public. The tour will be led by curator Caroline Corbeau- Parsons, Graphic Arts Curator, Musée d’Orsay,
