Since August 9, a pass sanitaire (health pass) is required in France for entry into restaurants, cultural institutions, including museums, monuments, cinemas, theaters, and long-distance forms of transportation, including planes, trains, and buses, for those 18 and older. 

The vast majority of cultural institutions (including the Musée d’Orsay and the Musée de l’Orangerie), restaurants, and department stores accept the white CDC paper card as proof of vaccination (in their original version, not a photo or a copy) when accompanied by a photo ID (passport recommended).
