Giorgio de Chirico. Metaphysical Painting

Sep 14, 2020 - Dec 14, 2020

The exhibition follows Giorgio de Chirico’s footsteps from Munich to Turin, to Paris -where he discovered the artistic avant-garde – and finally to Ferrare. Examining both his career and his artistic and philosophical influences, it highlights the relationship between the painter – first discovered by Guillaume Apollinaire and subsequently by art dealer Paul Guillaume – and Parisian cultural and literary circles, and presents an inspired approach to this creative period.
