AFMO Annual Gala 2022: A Weekend in Paris
October 20-23, 2022
We welcomed a record 120 weekend guests from October 20-23 and 200 for the Gala evening at the museum; both events were sold out.
Once again, the weekend began with our Welcome Cocktail held at the residence of the U.S. Ambassador. Friday included private visits of Notre Dame, Cartier, Galerie Dior, Maison Louis Vuitton and an exclusive tour of Orsay’s current contemporary art exhibition led by Christophe Leribault, with all guests meeting for lunch at the Hotel d’Evreux at Place Vendome. Our Saturday excursions were to the newly restored Chateau de Fontainebleau and to the Paris+ by Art Basel fair.
We welcomed artist Kehinde Wiley whose works are on view in the Orsay nave, thanks to the generous support of AFMO, followed by dinner in the Belle Epoque ballroom where Ducasse Reception enchanted us with a special menu.
Please enjoy the photos and hope you join us next year in Paris.
