A Weekend in Paris: AFMO’s 10+ Anniversary
October 21-24, 2021
Almost a hundred weekend guests traveled to Paris to celebrate AFMO’s 10+ years, our wonderful Museums, and each other.
From our Welcome Cocktail at the residence of the U.S. Ambassador to a behind-the-scenes visit at the Musée d’Orsay, a curated tour of the Soutine/de Kooning exhibition and cocktail evening amid David Hockney’s “A Year in Normandie”, by way of the Bourse de Commerce-Pinault Collection, a rare visit at Cartier’s High Jewelry workshops, the Moulin Rouge, the Hôtel de la Marine, Galerie Perrotin Paris, private homes and collections, guests enjoyed art, culture, and the Best of Paris.
A spectacular luncheon at the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs, Quai d’Orsay, was an undisputed highlight, service “à la française” included.
One hundred eighty guests celebrated the gala evening at the Musée d’Orsay with Alain Ducasse Receptions and a special after-dinner “Walk through Impressionism”.
